- Account Information: When you sign in with Apple, we receive your name and email address (or Apple's private relay email if you choose to hide your email).
- Financial Data: Information about your creditors, bills, and payments that you enter into the app. This data is stored locally on your device and optionally synced via iCloud.
- Usage Data: We do not collect analytics or usage data.
How We Use Your Information
Your information is used to:
- Provide and maintain the app's functionality
- Sync your data across your devices via iCloud (if enabled)
- Send payment notification emails on your behalf to your creditors
- Identify you within the app
Data Storage and Security
Your financial data is stored:
- Locally: On your device using Apple's secure data storage
- iCloud: If you have iCloud sync enabled, your data is encrypted and stored in your personal iCloud account
We do not have access to your iCloud data. Only you can access it through your Apple ID.
Email Services
When you send payment notification emails through the app:
- Emails are sent via our email service provider (Resend.com)
- Your name and email are used as the reply-to address
- We do not store the content of emails after they are sent
Third-Party Services
We use the following third-party services:
- Apple Sign In: For authentication
- Apple iCloud: For optional data sync
- Resend.com: For sending emails
Data Retention
Your data remains on your device and in your iCloud account until you delete it. We do not retain copies of your data on our servers.
Your Rights
You have the right to:
- Access your data (it's all on your device)
- Delete your data by removing it from the app or deleting the app
- Disable iCloud sync at any time
Children's Privacy
Divvy is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13.
